OH, BABY @ the Chicago Int'l REEL Shorts Festival


OH, BABY will world premier at the Chicago Int'l Reel Shorts Festival Saturday night, Sept 13th 2008 at 7pm in the SciFi/Horror block at Film Row Cinema, Columbia College 1104 S Wabash, 8th Floor, Chicago. 

We are very proud to have been one of the few horror films selected for this festival! Director Courtney Lamb and Producer Sarah Vaill will be in attendance, so come say hello if you're in Chicago.

Sarah Vaill: Bio

SARAH VAILL is a screenwriter, documentary filmmaker, and producing partner in Evil Twin Films. A Nicholl Fellowship semi-finalist, Sarah writes and produces female adventures for film, television, and the web: ADELITAS, the feature film script about the women of the Mexican Revolution; NO COINCIDENCES, her published short story developed into a feature screenplay about the Camino to Santiago in Spain; THE FABULOUS ADVENTURES OF SUPERMODEL, an animated television series created with
Susan Vaill; and the documentary WOMEN WITH ALTITUDE: MIND OVER MOUNTAINS, about an expedition to a 20,000 ft summit in the Bolivian Andes.

Other credits include writing, producing, and directing a commissioned work of nine gala monologues (WFN Twentieth Anniversary, San Diego), three one-act plays (Tamarind Theater, Los Angeles), and co-producing the documentary WHERE THE ROAD ENDS AND THE WALKING BEGINS. Sarah is a graduate of Duke University and the UCLA School of Film and
Television’s Professional Program in Screenwriting…and led a secret life as a Doublemint Twin.

Sharri Hefner: Bio

Sharri is a writer and producer who splits her time between Los Angeles and Lexington, KY. Most recently, Sharri wrote for Gene Rhee’s THE TROUBLE WITH ROMANCE, which stars David Eigenberg (Sex and the City) and Jordan Belfi (Entourage). GEORGIA HEAT, a script Sharri wrote with fellow NYU Alum Mora Stephens, was selected for Tribeca All Access, participated in Film Independent's Fast Track, and won Asian Cinevision. As a member of the independent production entity Hyphenate Films, Sharri has line produced Joel Viertel’s STRICTLY SEXUAL and Guerilla marketed Mora Stephens’ CONVENTIONEERS. As a producer, Sharri has produced several award-winning shorts, including Nathan Butera's BROTHER and Janet McIntyre's BIRD IN HAND. Sharri has also worked as a field producer for E! ENTERTAINMENT's TRUE HOLLYWOOD STORIES series. As an actor, Sharri starred in the world premieres of Emmy-winning Peter Lefcourt's LA RONDE DE LUNCH and SWEET TALK and played Curley's Wife under the direction of LATC founder Bill Bushnell. Sharri received her MFA from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts and graduated summa cum laude from California State, Long Beach.

Anna Siri: Bio

Anna Siri is an award-winning screenwriter, script consultant, and screenplay contest coordinator. She spent several years with the AAA Screenplay Contest, and has been an administrator and/or contest judge for the Screenwriting Expo, the CS Open Live Writing Tournament, the Slamdance Film Festival Screenplay Contest, and currently the Writers on the Storm Screenplay Contest. Anna has won writing awards from UCLA and Cinematical.com, and graduated from Northwestern University with a degree in film, as well as the UCLA Professional Program in Screenwriting. She is an active member of 12 PT. WEST and her first feature, co-written by writer/director Sharri Hefner, is currently in development.
